Bill holds a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2002), a M.S. in Polymer Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2004), and an MBA from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business (2013). Bill has a well-rounded technical background with fifteen years of experience in the plastics industry holding various roles in sales, research and development, polymer processing, converting, and vacuum web coating with historical close ties to manufacturing.

Bill has been with Printpack for the last eleven years. Bill started as a Product Development Engineer in Villa Rica, GA, acting as the subject matter expert, leading development efforts for vacuum web coated products (metallizing) for use in high barrier, flexible packaging applications. From there, Bill moved into the position of Product Development Manager, based in Atlanta, GA, for a technical group dedicated to blown and cast film development for internal converting and external end-user applications. After eight years in product development, Bill transitioned into sales to serve as the Account Manager for one of Printpack’s largest CPG customers focused on delivering flexible packaging solutions for a broad range of end market needs. As part of Printpack’s recent announcement on the formation of the Office of Sustainability, Bill now serves as the Sustainable Innovations Manager where he will capture and define market insights, ideate and create concepts that address sustainable packaging needs in the market, and co-develop solutions with industry partners that fill the innovation pipeline.
