In 2006, Wilkinson joined 2 Sisters Food Group as executive director. He is also a director of the Red Tractor Poultry Sector Board and the British Poultry Council and serves as a vice president and council member of AVEC (the Association of Poultry Processors and Poultry Trade in the EU). He is a past director of Inghams, a poultry integrator in Australia and New Zealand, a past non-executive director of Cogent, a ruminant genetics company based in England and has extensive experience working with companies in lighting and sensors for the poultry and swine industry, insect genetics and animal feeds.
