Dr. Lonnie Hobbs, Jr., a native of Clarksville, Tx, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University. He conducts research specializing in agribusiness, marketing, pet food economics, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Lonnie also serves as a co-advisor for Kansas State’s Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) local chapter. Lonnie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness from Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University.
