Brian Nash is the vice president of corporate sustainability at Ingredion, a Fortune 500 company, that provides global ingredient solutions to customers in more than 120 countries with annual net sales of nearly $8 billion. Nash is responsible for driving transformational change in key growth areas – such as sustainable agriculture, human rights protection, and environmental impact reduction - across the Company’s global operations and supply chain in collaboration with its global customers to meet their expectations. Nash joined Ingredion in 2005 as a Safety, Health, and Environment, Manager and later added sustainability into his role, establishing a strategic framework for executing the Company’s global strategy for sustainability that manages the long-term risks and expectations with stakeholders. Nash chairs Ingredion’s Global Sustainability Council, which provides oversight for the Company’s work in sustainable sourcing, environmental conservation, social accountability, community engagement, and sustainability reporting in conjunction with third-parties stakeholder and advocacy groups. Nash has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University, a master’s degree in environmental management from the University of Findlay, and a master’s degree in sustainability leadership from the University of Cambridge. Currently, Nash serves as a Global Ambassador for the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and is an adjunct faculty member for Indiana University.
